Image: "American School," by Matthew Pratt, 1765. It's great to have you here. This website compliments my YouTube channel "Jeffrey the Librarian". Jeffrey Meyer has a master's degree in archaeology and a master's degree in library science. I have had the opportunity to do archaeological excavations in Pennsylvania, Canada, and Scotland. I double majored in achaeology and religion while at Dickinson College and took enough courses in ancient Greek there to receive a minor in classical studies. I have published peer-reviewed articles in "Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography," "Public Library Quarterly," "Rehabilitation Counselors and Educators Journal," and "Reference Librarian." I've published a number of trade-magazine articles. I think my biggest writing accomplishment was getting $25 for a poetry award. How many folks can say they paid for two-week's worth of Diet Coke on poetry? My resume is a mess. I've been a public librarian, an academic librarian, a park ranger, a gym floorman, a history professor, a lab technician, a museum worker, a church worker, an academic project assistant, and now a content creator.
